Love and Happiness

Mar 21, 2018

A former professional chef and antique purveyor, Eloise Dorsey’s zest for life continued as a Kline House resident.

Eloise devoted her life to loving and caring for her husband, Charles, of 57 years as well as her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Until his passing, Eloise and Charles owned and operated Miss Ellie’s Treasures, an antique consignment shop in Frederick MD.

Eloise’s outgoing personality energized everyone around her. She even kept a photo of Charles on her table so he could enjoy the various activities and simple pleasures that she enjoyed while at the Kline House. She had a way of celebrating the little things in life like the icy touch of a snowball, a slice of birthday cake, and the childhood tradition of dyeing Easter eggs.

A true class act, Eloise enjoyed a glass of wine with her family in the evenings. She died peacefully surrounded by her friends and family.

Choosing Hospice did not stop Eloise from living her life to the fullest and enjoying every moment.
